STARBASE Great Falls was established at the 120th Airlift Wing in 2011. We provide 25 hours of hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art/Design, and Mathematics (STEAM) instruction to all fifth graders in the Great Falls Public School District and select surrounding schools. Students are typically bused to our STARBASE classroom for five days from 9 AM-2 PM. Students can expect to tour C-130 airplanes, learn to code, program robots, 3-D print, achieve engineering challenges, and learn about different STEAM careers.
