Always Ready - Always There

STARBASE-Advanced-Logo.png

The STARBASE Advanced programs combine STEM activities with a relationship-rich, school-based afterschool environment to provide the missing link for at-risk youth making the transition from elementary to middle and on to high school. It extends the positive impact of STARBASE through an afterschool STEM coaching approach which solidifies students' attachment to and engagement with school.
The STARBASE Advanced program operates through partnerships with STARBASE, local school districts, and community volunteers. STARBASE Advanced Clubs will be held at the following middle schools during the 2023 - 2024 school year:
 

Helena Middle School

Code Girls United Program - Thursdays from 3 - 5 pm (starts 9/21 and ends 12/14)

Meets in HMS Library with Ms. Friez

STEM Program - Thursdays from 3 - 5 pm (starts 9/21 and ends 12/14)

Meets in Mrs. Grotbo's classroom

C.R. Anderson Middle School 

Code Girls United Program - Tuesdays from 3 - 5 pm (starts 9/19 and ends 12/12)

Meets in Mrs. Petaja's classroom

STEM Program - Tuesdays from 3 - 5 pm (starts 9/19 and ends 12/12)

Meets in Mrs. Currier's classroom 

East Valley Middle School 

STEM Program - Mondays from 315 - 515 pm (starts 9/11 and ends 12/11)

Meets in Mrs. Lance's classroom 

East Helena High School

FTC Robotics Team - 1051 - 1134 am on B days (start 9/21 and ends 2/6)

Meets in Mrs. Smail's classroom

Clancy School 

STEM Program - Fridays from 330 - 530 pm (starts 9/29 and ends 12/15)

Meets in Ms. Pyett's classroom
