Montana DES is the lead in agency coordinating comprehensive emergency management in Montana.

- Leveraging mitigation through successful response & recovery
Goals of the Division:
- Ensure that a Comprehensive Emergency Management program exists in Montana to save lives and property.
- Reduce human suffering and enhance the recovery of communities after disaster strikes.
- Provide quality service in all our activities.
