BRIGADIER GENERAL STANLEY RICHARD PUTNAM

Brigadier General Stanley R. Putnam is the Assistant Adjutant General, Army for the State of Montana, and the Commander of the Montana Army National Guard. He is responsible to the Adjutant General and the Governor of Montana to provide Army National Guard forces which are ready to deploy in support of national defense, homeland defense, or military support to civil authority.

Prior to his appointment as Assistant Adjutant General, he served as the Chief of Staff; Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations; and Deputy Chief of Staff for Information Management.
